There are many different types of drilling rigs designed and engineered to optimize the production of oil and gas. In order to efficiently and safely transport these rigs and other related oilfield equipment, customized rigging is required. We design and manufacture our equipment in our own modern fabrication shop, this ensures the quality of workmanship and lets us know that the end product is exactly what we need. Each unit needs to be durable enough to stand up to severe conditions and yet still carry the maximum payload. When there is a place to sacrifice weight for strength, our welding department knows where to do it. Advancements in air suspension and hydraulics have been incorporated into many of our units and are now considered standard features on all of our equipment. Our licensed welders and heavy equipment technicians work closely with drivers and supervisors to make improvements to our fleet in response to new rig requirements. This same interaction takes place with our customers in discussing rig designs in advance of construction, helping make their operations more effective. Hodges houses a 20,000 sq. ft. welding facility located in Oklahoma city which is equipped with a 25 ton overhead crane, 7 welding machines, traceable plasma shape cutter, full machine shop, shear, ironworker and much more.
